As we near Thanksgiving, we can’t help but take a moment to express our gratitude for our amazing John C. Myers students and families! It is our privilege to teach your children. Thank you for sharing them with us!

Myers Motivators: Myers Motivators (formerly known as the Watch D.O.G.S. program) is an excellent volunteer opportunity for parents and guardians who would like to have a positive impact on our school community. As a Myers Motivators volunteer, you will assist with student breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria, play a key role in upholding school safety measures, and provide invaluable support within your child's classroom. We will offer two volunteer shifts each day, (8:00-11:30 and 11:30-3:00). Please click on the link below to sign up for a volunteer slot in December: December Sign Up
Join us in congratulating Mr. Zach Shifflet, fourth grade teacher, on being recognized with an Inspire Award. To receive this award, teachers must be nominated by a student or parent for their efforts in and out of the classroom. Jenny Hill-Brown nominated Mr. Shifflett by saying “Mr. Shifflett is an amazing human! Not only is a wonderful teacher, he is showing to his 4th grade students that he cares for them and wants them to be good people.” Congratulations, Mr. Shifflett, on this special honor! December 1-8 - Book Fair - The school book fair is coming! Please watch for more details on after school shopping hours for families. Students will also have the opportunity to browse and buy during the school day.
