Dear JCMES Families,
This week’s update contains a few quick reminders of things to keep in mind before we head into winter break next Wednesday. As the holidays approach we might be a little more tired than usual and go home with some glitter in our hair from all the projects but we are so thankful to spend our days with your children. Their excitement and joy this time of year is contagious! From our halls to your homes we wish you a very happy holiday season and peaceful time to enjoy with family and friends.

Encourage your children to check the lost and found this week. We are trying to reunite winter weather items and students before the break!

Over break the office will be closed the majority of days. Mrs. Branner and Mrs. Imbrescia will be working at school next Wednesday and Thursday to prepare for the new year so if you need our assistance with anything those would be the best two days to get in contact with us. We will check our email occasionally over break but less so the other days. We encourage teachers to unplug and take a break from school related things and would ask that you allow them this time to recharge as well. Please hold teacher contact after next Tuesday until school resumes in January and reach out to an administrator if you need assistance over the break.
We are hiring! Currently we have an opening for a part time evening custodian. This position has full benefits including paid time off and access to insurance. The hours are 3:30-7:30pm Mon-Fri. Hours are more flexible during non school days and in the summer. This position primarily helps with afterschool building cleaning including classroom, hallways and bathrooms. If you are interested in joining our team or know someone who may be, please have them reach out to Mrs. Branner. Thanks for helping us spread the word!
December 11-15 - Bring Your Parent to PE Week - Two more days! Parents and caregivers are invited to join their child for PE during the week of December 11th-15th. We just ask that only one adult come each day (due to space) and that younger siblings stay home for this event. Check your email for this update with a link to the P.E. schedule for the week. Parents, come ready to play!
December 19 - PJ Day! We will gather together on our day before winter break for a holiday sing-a-long in our PJs!
December 19 - Dominos Pizza Night to benefit the PTO - Be sure to enter DN6 when ordering online or mention JCM for call in orders.
