Dental Clinic for Families
Smile Virginia, a traveling dental clinic, will be coming to JCMES on Wednesday, December 17th and Thursday, December 18th. This is a wonderful opportunity for all children, especially those who currently do not have a dental provider.
Smile Virginia Dental Clinic is like any other dental provider and bills insurance for the services that they provide. If your child doesn’t have dental insurance, you may choose to pay for your child to receive preventive dental care only ($74 for ages 12 and younger and $93 for ages 13 and older) or you may fill out an application to request for your child to receive donated preventive dental care only (ONCE per school year). Services provided include: dental cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, sealants, fillings, and extractions (services do not include dental work needing sedation and crowns). If you are interested in your child receiving dental services, please complete the form entirely (including insurance information and signature) and return it to school or register online at https://www.myschooldentist.com/JCRCVA_schsrm. Registration forms have already been sent home with students. All forms and online registrations are due by December 15
