This week we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, and we invite you to join us in honoring the incredible educators who pour their hearts into our students each day. Whether you take advantage of the PTO’s invitation below, reach out to a former teacher of your own, or simply send a quick note of thanks via Seesaw, your gestures of gratitude mean the world to our staff.

Help Us Keep the Line Moving!

To help our morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups run as smoothly as possible, we’d love your help in keeping the line efficient and safe. Our goal is to get everyone through quickly and prevent traffic from backing up onto the main road.

A few quick tips for a seamless transition:

  • Close the Gaps: Please maintain a close but safe following distance from the car in front of you. Minimizing large gaps helps us pull as many vehicles as possible off the road and onto campus.

  • Be Ready to Roll: In the mornings, please have your students unbuckled with their backpacks on and ready to exit as soon as you reach the drop-off point.

  • Quick & Sweet: We love seeing those smiles, but please save the long goodbyes for home so the cars behind you can keep moving.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep our students safe and our morning commute stress-free!

A Note from Nurse Shavonne

As we approach SOL testing and continue with important SOL review activities in class, I want to emphasize how important it is for students who wear glasses to bring them to school every day—especially on testing days. Clear vision plays a critical role in helping students do their best. Please help us support your child by ensuring their glasses are at school and in good condition each day. Thank you for your support!

Partner with JCMES for the 26 - 27 School Year

Do you own a local business or work for an organization looking to make a meaningful impact right here in our community? We are officially seeking sponsors for our 26-27 JCMES t-shirts and our beloved Staff Treat Trolley! Your support ensures that all 500 of our students and 100+ staff members receive a school shirt at no cost, promoting school spirit and equity across our campus. These shirts are worn frequently throughout the year for field trips and special events, providing your business with fantastic local visibility. Additionally, sponsorships help us stock the "Treat Trolley" to keep our hardworking teachers fueled and appreciated.
