As the weather finally warms up and the sunshine gets brighter, we can officially feel the excitement building down the hallways. We are so proud of how hard our students are working right up to the finish line!
Field Day Fun!
We’re looking forward to Field Day on Friday, May 29! If the weather forecast doesn't cooperate, we’ll move it to Thursday, May 28. It could be a little confusing to have the rain date scheduled before the event, but keep an eye out for an update a couple of days before the event once we’ve checked the forecast.
We need your help to supply Field Day snacks, drinks, baby shampoo for the water slide, and splash balls for several stations. Please bring these supplies to the front office on or before May 27th. Thanks to the BHS Lab School students, most of our Field Day stations are fully staffed, but there are a few volunteer spots left - first come, first serve!

Online Registration for Returning Students
It is time to complete the Online Registration for all rising 1st through 5th graders!
A huge thank you to everyone who has already submitted their forms—your promptness helps us plan effectively for the upcoming school year. We are making great progress, but we aren't quite at the finish line yet. If you haven't had a chance to log in yet, please take a moment this week to finalize your child's enrollment. You should have received an email from RCPS with a link to begin your registration. Please give us a call at school (896.2297) with any questions.
Pictures
Journey pictures are being sent home this week. These pictures include a photo from each year a student has been in school. Younger students may only have this year’s photo, while older students may have several years included.
These photo collections have been sent home for families to review and have the option to purchase. If you’re not interested in purchasing the photos, please just return them to school. Pay online at Strawbridge.net using the student’s unique code found in the package, or send cash/check payable to Strawbridge in the remittance envelope.
Please keep the photos you purchase and return any unwanted pictures by Tuesday 5/26.
